During April and May 2020 the main focus of the work will be within the centre of the roundabout, making preparations to enable us to start building the foundations of the new bridge from late May onwards. Other pockets of work will be carried out at the same time to confirm the location and condition of drainage provision, underground services and power cables.
During this period some traffic management arrangements will be put in place on the roundabout, and on the M6 beneath the roundabout, including reduced speed limits to protect our workforce. We advise drivers to take extra care within our roadworks and allow extra time for their journey.
